Welcome to the Asian Light Metals Association (ALMA)
The Asian Light Metals Association (ALMA), which was renamed from the International Communication Program (ICP) proposed by The Japan Institute of Light Metals (JILM) and established in 2006 with the collaboration of Asian regions such as Korea and Taiwan for the purpose of promoting close and continuous exchange of scientific and technical information among industry and academia of light metals in Asia. The ALMA is now composed of five regions with additional affiliates such as China and Australia.
The ALMA provides the place for exchanging opinion among the affiliates actively and intimately, through the ALMA meeting together with the ALMA Forum and other activities.
This website shall be operated by the JILM where the head-quarter of ALMA is located.
